I think skulling or topping is the most common missed golf swing when you're chipping the golf ball.
You'll have a great shot lined up, but when you look up, you've skulled it, or topped it, or hit it thin and bladed it over the green.
So, let me tell you about an exercise that will help you a lot with your golf swing.
After you set up, ball in the middle, weight left and handle left, watch the club head, not a giant followthrough. Here's why.
The angle that your club goes back is up. So, if it goes up, it'll come back down and you'll hear a click.
Now when you skull, your golf club travels too much inside. That means it didn't get up high enough.
But if it goes inside low, it will try to go and get underneath the ball on the way down.
So, the next time you're out on the golf course or the practice facility, try this little exercise to improve your golf swing. See if you can take the leading edge, and see if you can chop some grass with it.
Not a giant followthrough, but a very functional way to chip a golf ball and not skull anymore.
Now, have you ever asked yourself how hard should I hold a golf club?
There's something real common in this country. When we shake people's hands, we kind of know whether you're shaking their hand and it's a little too light, or maybe it's a little too firm.
But when we swing a golf club there's no gauge. There's no one on the other end saying, ?Hey, you're holding on too tight.?
I have a great golf grip lesson for you. Let me tell you something that will really help, because there really is something down there saying, ?Hey, I think you're holding on too tight,? or maybe, ?You're holding on too softly.?
Watch this. The tighter you hold a golf club, the slower the face is to roll over and release. The lighter that you hold a golf club, the easier it is and the quicker the toe will cross over.
So, if you're struggling and you feel like you're hitting the golf ball shorter than you should and you're fading a little bit, lighten up on your grip.
If you feel that maybe you're hitting it left with a little too much hook, and you're really hitting it far, maybe even a little further that you might normally hit it, then maybe you hold on a little too softly.
For those of you that hook the golf ball and you want to hold onto the grip a little tighter, start with the left hand. Hold onto the club with the left hand just a little tighter than the right, but hold on firmer.
Again, if you feel like you're fading, loosen up on it. If you feel like you're hooking, grab onto it just a little bit tighter. Hopefully this golf grip lesson will help you.
Have a great day, and thanks.

Proper Golf Setup - Golf Swing Setup Routine... Just Like The Pros
Hi,This is the Proper Golf Setup Routine, and it is the best I have ever come across in 5 years of golf swing research...OK, here we go. This is something that I was shown by a Professional Golfer. I have never seen this before in any golfing magazine, web site, golf show etc. This is a setup routine to get you in exactly the right position and distance from the ball every time with every club. Proper Golf Setup InstructionsThis proper golf setup routine should ONLY be used on the practice range, I don't want you getting disqualified from some big competition! Any significant change should be practiced - you should never make big changes to your golf swing during a round. Work it all out on the practice range, check it works, then implement it. Only implement this setup on the course once you can get the right distance from the ball without laying your club on the ground.Choose the club you plan to hit the ball with - I would recommend that your start to try this setup routine with a 7 iron. The following instructions are for a 9 iron right through to your long irons:1. Lay the club down on the ground pointing away from your body, that's from your body when setup alongside the ball in your normal stance, towards the ball. 2. Now move the club head (which should be closest to the ball, away from your body) so that it is on the other side of the ball. So as you look down to the ground you will see the club shaft running away from you with the club head wrapped around the other side of the ball. 3. Now move yourself to the ball and put one finger width space between the ball and the clubhead as it is laid on the ground. 4. Now move back to the butt end of the shaft. 5. Now take up your stance but this time line up the back of your heels with the butt end of the club. This now sets your feet the correct distance from the ball. 6. All you need to do now is keep you feet on the line you've set them and pick your club up and address the ball. WARNING: This proper golf setup gives you the correct amount of bend at your knees. To get yourself balanced you will need to push you bum out behind you, remembering to keep your back straight and bend more over the ball. WARNING: The first time you do this you may think you are way too far away from the ball. I have checked this setup and it is absolutely correct and matches the setup of the worlds top pros. WARNING: You may find it easier to change your golf setup in small steps rather than go straight to this setup - if the ball feels way too far away from you then gradually increase the distance over a few rounds. You need to practice the proper golf setup as described above until you can do it without laying you club down on the floor. Soon you will be doing this without even thinking about it. The Other ClubsThe only differences for the other clubs is that for clubs shorter than your 9 iron you add another finger for each club, two finger space for a pitching wedge etc. For the driver, instead of the end of the butt of the shaft being along the back line of your heels the end of the butt should be around the middle of your foot.Give this proper golf setup routine a try, you might be nicely surprised at how much easier it is to hit the ball with this extra room to work in.Happy Golfing!Click Here! to discover what really makes the difference to an amateur golfer and join the 1% of golfers who swing like a pro.
Swing Speed and Grip for Best Golf Distance Now
The number one tip you'll find throughout the world of golf help is, increase you're club head speed and they're absolutely right. The speed of your swing will equate to much of your driving distance. Maximize your speed, maximize your impact and maximize your distance in turn. It's simple laws of physics.
But equally as important as gaining the speed you need, is doing it properly. There are many key things to pay attention to as you work on fulfilling your swing potential. For every 1 mile per hour you increase your swing speed, you stand to gain anywhere from 2 to 3 yards on average. However, for every action there is an equal but opposite reaction. If you focus too much on raising your speed and forget to adjust your balance accordingly, you stand to lose a lot more.
Believe it or not, your swing gets it's momentum, not so much from your arms but from your core and back as you pivot. In fact, the arms are just the catalyst for which you carry the swing rather than the driving force behind the swing itself.
Keep your arms loose. The tighter your muscles, the less overall speed you can generate. If you ever catch a baseball game, notice the way that a batter loosens up before he gets up to bat. If the muscles are flexed, it constricts your tendons pulling them tighter, making them tense and making your arms more difficult to swing. Gaining speed from raw power and muscle work is counter intuitive. Think about it, if it was as easy as big muscles, every golfer would look like a football player. Golf is a game of finesse not raw strength
Focus on winding up farther. The farther you can pivot the body on your back swing, the more distance you put between your club head and the ball. This gives you more time for the momentum to build. Careful not to twist too far you wouldn't want to strain your back. That would put a damper on your game for a while. Pivot as much as possible but always keep it comfortable.
Also, take a look at your arch. The wider your arch on your back swing, just like the pivoting of the body, creates more distance to the point of contact, thereby generating more room to build velocity. The farther you can get that club head behind you, while still maintaining comfort, the better off your swing will be. Get that full arm extension and hold it all the way through.
Stature also plays a large role in gaining speed. Work on maintaining your posture all the way through the swing. Keep your body and spine straight and in proper alignment throughout the entire swing. If your shoulders drop and you lose posture, you lose that all important distance between the ball and club, again reducing speed.

Great Golf Alignment Tips
The way in which you align yourself when setting up to hit a golf ball has a huge affect on how good your golf shots are going to turn out. But don't believe me. Read what a multiple major golf champion has to say on this alignment issue'
"It goes without saying that it is no good having a perfect setup, perfect grip and perfect golf swing if the whole thing is misaligned. It sounds obvious but many players simply do not spend enough time getting themselves on target."
Nick Faldo - Winner of 6 Major Championships
So hopefully you now understand the importance of golf alignment. And if you do, here's a simple exercise that you can quickly and easily do to check your feet alignment.
To do this golf alignment exercise I want you to setup to a golf shot as normal and get comfortable. Then just before you're ready to hit your shot, get two golf balls and without moving your feet place them directly behind your heels so they're touching your feet. Now take your feet away and go back behind your ball down the line of your target and see how good your alignment was.
The beauty of doing this golf alignment exercise is that it shows you exactly where you are aligning your feet and then you can simply change the golf balls so they align correctly and then setup with these balls touching your heels. If your feet have been aligned incorrectly for a while then it will feel quite strange when you align them correctly. But keep practicing and before long, your new feet alignment will become second nature.
Now that's an easy way to check your feet alignment. But you still have to check the alignment of your knees, hips and shoulders as they also have a big affect on your golf shots success. And the absolute best way of checking this is to get a person to get a golf club and lay it across each part of your body once you've setup to a shot. But remember, you want each part of your body to be aligned parallel to the starting line of your golf shot.
You do NOT want your body to be aligned directly at your target. A good way to picture this is to imagine yourself setting up to hit a golf shot on railway tracks. Imagine the golf ball on one rail and you're standing on the other rail.
Golf alignment is critical to your success and consistency so check it often, because it's very easy to align yourself incorrectly without even knowing. But now you know exactly what you need to do to check your alignment so you have no excuse. So please make an effort to check it often...because it can only do your golf game good.

Golf is Good for You
Believe it or not, golf is actually good for your health. Even the United States Golf Association thinks so; they also advise that you should walk the golf course and try to avoid - as much as possible - riding golf carts.
Although riding golf carts is the most convenient way to get yourself from one hole to the next, it will actually be good for your body if you walk your legs along the greens. Doing so pumps your heart, circulates the blood all over your body, and is a good and fun way of exercising.
David Fay from the United States Golf Association also thinks that the most pleasurable way to play golf is by walking. Riding carts, he said, should as much as possible be stopped now.
Walking is a good form of exercise. It is the most basic and easy program of getting fit which almost anyone could do. Simply put, walking is good for you.
Although some believe that walking the golf course is a very unhealthy thing to do because of the nature of the game - the start and stop process of golf playing. In actuality though, there have been scientific studies as well as evidence of people actually telling their personal experiences on the positive effects of walking through a game of golf.
In Sweden in particular, there are researchers who discovered that walking through a game of golf equals to about forty to seventy percent of intense workout in an aerobics class. This is assuming that about eighteen holes were played.
In another study by a cardiologist named Edward Palank, golfers who walked were found to be in a better state of health because the level of bad cholesterol in their body decreased. Meanwhile, the level of their good cholesterol was steady. Those golfers who settled to ride their way across the golf course on golf carts,, however, did not show these same positive health results.
Also, according to Golf Science International, four hours of golf playing was found to be comparable to attending a forty five minute fitness class.
Another golf association, specifically the Northern Ohio Golf Association, stated that when a golfer walks across a course, it is roughly equivalent to walking for three to four miles. This included walking around hills, over greens and tees.
Not convinced yet? Maybe you should try doing the following activities and see, as well as feel, the difference for yourself.
During a round of golf, try to walk along alternating holes so that by the end of your round of golf you should be able to have walked through a total of nine holes.
If you are feeling not up to it yet as fully as you should, that is okay. Maybe you could try walking on a set of nines while you can ride the other set.
If you have a golf partner and he or she insists that you ride along with him or her, make sure that you only ride on the path of the cart. You can then walk down to the fairway towards your ball and then your partner could bring the golf cart up.
Are you convinced yet? If not, try to look at it this way. If your health is not good enough for you to settle to walk those legs and pump that good old heart of yours, then at least take pity and be considerate of the damage that golf carts do to fairways.
Believe it or not, golf carts do create damage around sand traps and around the greens. Even if carts are not supposed to ride along these areas, sometimes though, depending on who is behind the golf cart's wheel, they still at times do.
For the sake of the greens, go walk! Because of advances in technology, there are now grasses that are able to grow on areas that they originally are not supposed to grow on at all. As a result of this, golf courses look as amazing as they were before. Unfortunately, these same golf courses are as subject to a lot of wear and tear as well.
Driving a golf cart along these beautiful greens subjects them to unnecessary damage. So now that you know, it would not hurt you to consider walking along, across, over, or through those greens now would it?

Golf Setup Ball Position
Copyright 2006 David Nevogt
I have a great tip for you that's going to end all the doubt you had in your mind about golf setup and where the golf ball goes in your stance. It's called ball position.
A lot of amateurs, unfortunately, address the golf ball, what I call, backwards. They come in and they put their feet down and try to aim where they're going, either down the fairway or towards the pin, and then they just stand to the golf club that they're holding onto. Sometimes their golf setup is too far back and sometimes it's too far forward.
Other amateurs do this. They like to play all of their shots off their front foot. Some like to play all their shots off the middle of their stance. But let me tell you something, and I think this is really going to help you.
This weekend if you're sitting around watching TV, watch the tour players and watch how they come up and they grip the golf club first, they take a look at where they're going, and then they stand to the golf club that they're using.
For instance, put the butt of the pitching wedge across from your belt buckle, and stand to the golf club with the face square and your shoulders going where you want them to go.
What that does is put the golf ball in the middle of your stance for your pitching wedge. Now, keep that stance with your 7 iron.
Now, the 7 iron is three inches longer than the pitching wedge. If you just stand there and grip it with your shoulders square, look how the golf ball is just starting to move forward in your stance over towards your left heel, and it's about three inches apart.
Now, pick up your long iron and do the same thing. Keep your shoulders square, don't move your stance, and grip the golf club. And all of a sudden, the long iron starts to move even further forward.
Lastly, watch this. During golf setup, when you hold your driver in your hand. If you just put the butt of the club across your belt buckle, put the club on the ground the way it was built in the factory and stand across from it with your shoulders square, that puts the golf ball across from your left foot.
It's not complicated, but remember this: During golf setup, stand to the handle of the golf club. Don't address the golf ball first, but address the golf club to the ball and then take your stance.

METHOD GOLF INSTRUCTION
How many times have you heard something like, Tom Smith, teaching pro, has been working with Ernie for the past year. Looks like that new swing is paying off for Ernie."
There it is. The swing method teaser is out there. You heard it. You saw it work. Then you see an article in your favorite golf magazine and now theyre talking about this new swing method on the GOLF CHANNEL. You decide this is going to be the year! You dont need a new club just that new swing method and youll be all set. Really?
Lets be honest here. Youve been working on correcting those swing issues for years.
Now its the middle of the winter and youre starting to think about that trip with the guys to Myrtle Beach in a couple months. You have decided THIS is the year to FINALLY take care of those nagging problems once and for all.
You seek out a teaching pro, in your area, who teaches this new method and begin work in earnest. After all, if it works for the TOUR player is will really help you!
Fast forward a month into the season after working to develop this new swing. Youre hitting the ball worse than ever! Nobody ever said it would take THIS long.
You decide this new method really isnt for you, so youre going to get back to your old swing. But, when you try to go back, even your old swing fails you.
You wake up to the reality that you didnt really understand the new swing method. Not only that. You never really worked on understanding your old swing let alone thoroughly looking into the new method in the first place. Youd simply bought into the hype.
You realize when you took those lessons from the method instructor, not only did you not ask questions about the new method, but the teaching pro never really explained the differences between your old swing and the new one. Sure it was explained but not the way you understand the swing and you didnt push to have it laid out in your terms.
Ive said many times, There is no such thing as the perfect golf swing." , (except Iron Byron of course), and,Theres no best way to swing the club. Only yours."
Honestly, I have little problem with swing methods. I do have a problem with how these methods are promoted or marketed.
While I will admit, in recent years, the method craze seems to have abated somewhat and given way to teaching pros trying to explain single plane vs. the conventional swing. That said, it seems as if theyve only changed their approach to hooking people in to their particular idea of the best swing as theres always at least a twist or spin by the author to have you buy in to their particular take on the swing.
To the credit of most of the teaching pros in the tranches working with regular folks, fewer of them today openly espouse a particular swing method and instead seem to be more in touch with the communicative side of teaching. To the benefit, I must say, of the student.
Here are some things you might consider with respects what you might consider with regards taking lessons, your own golf swing and improving it. Give it some thought. It could save you a lot of time, money and aggravation.
Youre a beginner. You need to know about the absolutes of the golf swing, not a swing method. The basics: grip, stance and posture - the set up. From there, you then need to understand and feel the reality of balance, rhythm, tempo and timing as it relates to the swing motion. After that, its the responsibility of the pro to help you FEEL the basics of the take away, explain and help you feel transition, the down swing and follow through. That is the starting point and generally can be done in small groups or clinics. Neither does this level require any type of swing methodology.
Youve been playing for a number of years but never taken a lesson. Input by the pro should be designed here to help you develop and identify the different pieces of your golf swing around the basic swing concepts. Incorporate that understanding of your swing into a workable and reliable swing motion. Then working with you, based on your goals, further develop your golf swing.
Youve been playing for a long time and taken lessons from this several pros over the years with no real success. Your handicap has been sitting at 11 for years and you have decided this season is your year to get that handicap into single digits.
This last group of golfers is generally the most susceptible to method instruction. Theyre the ones who have poked around reading and trying different methods over the years to help them do everything from hit it longer off the tee to gaining more yards in the fairway never seriously considering the impact of improving their putting by 25-30%, which would achieve that goal of a single digit handicap.
In all honesty, if you look at most swing methods, you will find less of a difference between them and the conventional golf swing. That is when you leave marketing out of the equation.
Concepts could be considered merely a different way of packaging the same set of fundamentals. After all, which method does not rely on balance, rhythm, tempo, and timing? Which method has as its main goal something other than clean effective, repeatable ball striking, and accuracy and oh yes, simplicity.
It is the responsibility of the teaching pro to understand the latest and greatest swing methods out there, no matter their opinion of them. Why? It is the best way to be able to help the student. The more knowledge a teaching professional has about the different methods, the better able they are to help.
So when youre interviewing a prospective teaching professional looking for help with your golf swing, listen very carefully to what they say. The clues to his or her commitment to you, the student, will be found in that initial conversation. And, if it sounds like they may be method instructors. Ask! After all it IS your golf swing.

Training Aids To Help You Feel Lag In A Golf Swing
Many students ask us about lag in the golf swing and for some suggestions for some suggestions for golf lag training aids. It seems to me that lag in the golf swing seems to be very mysterious and/or misunderstood by most amateurs. Here is what the big secret is about lag and some golf lag training aids to help you feel lag in your golf swing:
Get Taylormade/ Callaway/ Cleveland / Ping/ Mizuno /Titleist golf clubs = www.shoppinginjoy.com
Lag is created in the golf swing when the golf club is being pulled through the impact area as opposed to being pushed through impact. Without tension in your wrists, elbows and shoulders, the pulling action of the golf club will place your grip ahead of the club head through impact. If you use muscles in your hands and arms to push the golf club at the golf ball then the arc will bottom out earlier and in turn your club head will be coming up at the ball as opposed to trapping the golf ball into the ground and creating a divot.
So now that you have a better understanding about how to achieve lag in the golf swing, what are some golf lag training aids that can help you accomplish obtaining lag and using it to better your golf swing?
Golf Lag Training Aids - GolfGym Club 38
On of the most useful golf training aids to create lag is the GolfGym Club 38. The GolfGym Club 38 is a weighted golf club, also called a weighted practice club, the extra weight of the training aid will allow you to feel how the golf club should drop from the top of your golf swing as opposed to gripping the golf club and moving your shoulder towards the golf ball. This move is commonly known as coming over the top. Regardless, with this move you will not be able to create lag in your golf swing.

Golf Lag Training Aids - Swing Mirror By Izzo Golf
The Golf Swing Mirror will allow you to improve your golf swing almost anywhere. With the size of the Swing Mirror you can take it with you wherever you go. You can use the swing mirror to check your address position as well as your impact position on the driving range, at home, in your office or when you travel.
Golf Lag Training Aids - Callaway Golf Impact Bag
The Callaway Golf impact bag helps you to create lag in the golf swing and trains you to have a flat left wrist and develops correct muscle memory as well as better precision, swing rhythm and endurance. Practicing your golf swing for fifteen minutes daily using the Impact Bag you will improve you impact position which will lead to better iron shots and longer drives.
In this article we have discussed what lag in the golf swing is and how it is created. Simply put the grip or handle of your golf club MUST be ahead of the golf ball at impact in order to hit a solid golf shot with an iron or your driver. We have also given you suggestions for golf lag training aids to help you improve your golf swing.

PurePoint Golf Instruction Golf Swing & a Golf Grip Lesson on Grip Pressure
Copyright (c) 2006 David Nevogt

Spells for Beginners
Witchcraft has become so well-liked and more accepted in the last decade or so, that there's a big range of books and courses on offer where you can learn the way to cast Spells for Beginners, carry out full moon spells and rituals and a ton more. The craft is large and far reaching and it takes a whole life to learn all of the exciting paths to work real wizardry spells, honor the Sabbats, make incense, brews and oil mixes. It really is unending and there are lots of pagan groups that are open for new folk to join. if you're an amateur, do however look out for those offering free black wizardry spells, break up spells, black sorcery love spells, free revenge spells, real black magic, free voodoo spells, spells and curses or voodoo love spells. This appears quite a catalogue of things to keep an eye out for, but there are some underhand characters around. here is a ritual that may stand you in a good position as the base for any spell. Firstly decide what your goal is. What do you want the result of your spell to achieve? By beginning with the end to mind , this helps us to have our consciousness in the goal rather than the obstructions, which is a{ very important| imperative vital start for weaving a successful spell. You can write this down or draw it. Some people make a vision board and cut out photographs from mags and books and include artistically written words to help them connect with the end goal. This is also good if drawing isn't your robust point! once you have done this it is important to clean yourself and the atmosphere. You can make yourself a ritual bath with a drop each of rosemary, sandalwood, myrrh and frankincense essential oils. This clears the energies of the day away and sets the mind for focused work. Breathe in the smells as you concentrate on your ritual goal.
preferably you should be alone in your place ( or outside ) or at least have a room to yourself where you know you won't be disturbed. Once back in the ritual room, smolder some incense of 2 parts frankincense, one part Myrrh and 1/2 part cinnamon. Light some candles, ideally green for north, red for south, blue for west and yellow or white for east. Place these candles around you in a circle in the suitable quarters and stand in the middle. Now draw a circle with your hand outstretched 3 times around you, visualizing white light coming out of your hand. Some employ a wand or athame ( ritual knife ) for this but for beginners, your hand is fine. With your circle of white light around you, you are now ready to start your spell. Sit in the middle of your circle and take your drawing or written goal. Recite aloud and keep it where you can see it. Visualise your goal manifest. You are being it, having it, it is yours. Now close the circle by 'undrawing' the circle, anticlockwise this time. Thank the quarters for their presence. It is wonderful to cast these works of sorcery for yourself. Free white magic spells are a gift to us all and are our legacy to perform. We each have the power inside us. Don't forget to record your workings, as your book of shadows spells are always very helpful to look up for future times. So, any Spells for Beginners can be started this way and will help you towards any future desires you'll have. .

How to Hit Good Long Iron Shots
Here are some excellent golf tips for beginners on how to hit good long iron shots and why high handicap golfers should not be using long irons if they are still struggling with long iron shots.
Many high handicap golfers have trouble hitting long iron shots. They have seen Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, etc on TV hitting high towering long iron shots using a three or four iron. But when they try to do the same, they can't because they can't create the power and the spin necessary to get the ball up in the air.
If you have a three or four iron in your hand which you are using off the tee or off the fairway, expect the thing to go low. So don't try and hit it high!
Most golfers over a mid-teen handicap probably should not have a three and four iron in their bag. You should use fairway woods which are much easier clubs to hit, with a lower centre of gravity. High handicap golfers should not be using long irons if they are still struggling with long iron shots.
Having said that, a long iron such as 2 iron is sometimes needed to hit shots long and low when a higher-numbered wood won't do the job as effectively. Although many golfers tend to avoid 2 irons because they have a 3 or 4 wood that will cover roughly the same distance, there are situations when encountering long holes or second-shot hazards where this will be the club of choice for an experienced player.
To hit long iron shots effectively under such circumstances, the following steps should be considered:
1) 2 iron could cover a distance of between 180 and 200 yards, making it a club primarily used for a second shot on extremely long holes i.e. mostly par 5s. Make sure you practice with it on the driving range to gauge the distance and accuracy within your capability.
2) Set up properly. Unlike when hitting a driver, you should address the ball in the middle of your stance. This will guarantee a solid strike that hits the ball low heading towards the green. If you position the ball just inside your left heel, the ball would be lifted.
3) You want to attack the ball with the club head coming from inside the target line. A shallow arc also allows you to sweep the ball with your long irons as opposed to the steep swing you use with the shorter irons to hit down and through the ball.
4) Hit the 2 iron in the same manner you would any iron by using a descending, even stroke that takes advantage of the iron's angle to carry the ball for the required distance.
5) Finish the swing with a long follow-through. Do not make the mistake of topping your swing after you make contact. Remember Tiger Wood's follow through is as long as his backswing. By doing this, his swing is fluid and stays the same every time.
6) Keep the ball low to get out of trouble while covering nearly the same distance as a 3 wood or 4 wood. This is very useful when hitting long iron shots from areas where tree branches could be present between you and the green.

The Most Haunted House In Savannah
The most haunted house in Savannah, Georgia is the Hampton Lillibridge residence. It is the scene of several tragic deaths and the source of true scary stories about real ghosts. Exorcism has failed to cleanse the house.
The Hampton Lillibridge House
Too Creepy For Occupancy
The most haunted house in Savannah, according to old-timers, is the Hampton Lillibridge House at 507 East Saint Julian Street on Washington Square. The home was originally built by Rhode Islander, Hampton Lillibridge in 1796.
When Hampton Lillibridge died, his widow remarried and disposed of the property. The home passed from owner to owner, and eventually became a boarding house. A sailor hung himself in one of the third story guest rooms during that period.
A Fateful Move
No one would live in the house for a number of years after that until it was finally purchased by intrepid antique dealer Jim Williams in 1963. The house was rapidly deteriorating. Williams also purchased the house next door, with the intent to restore both. However, a laborer was crushed to death during the move of the second house, another victim of the curse attached to the structure.
Workers involved in the 1963 relocation, conceivably stumbled on the source of the paranormal activity associated with Savannah's most haunted house. To their horror, workmen uncovered an ancient crypt as they were preparing the foundation to move.
Judging from the crypt's tabby construction, it dated back to early colonial times. Workers reported that the crypt was empty and so they had simply sealed it up and reburied it. Williams now suspects this to be the source of the haunting and regrets not having investigated more thoroughly at the time.
The Others
There is an abundance of macabre events associated with the Hampton Lillibridge house. Tools and equipment of men working on the restoration mysteriously disappeared or were relocated. Mocking laughter and footsteps were reported on several occasions.
Jim Williams himself reported numerous abnormalities during his tenure in the house. For example, he once followed a shadowy figure to the end of an upper story hall where it mysteriously disappeared through a door. Williams tried to open the door himself, but it was locked tight.
On December 7, 1963 the distraught Williams at last conducted an exorcism of the haunted house under the auspices of an Episcopal bishop. Unfortunately, the cleansing was ineffective as the paranormal activity resumed within a week.

There are no willing buyers because of the many true scary stories associated with the most haunted house in Savannah. Neighbors report shadowy figures in the windows and eerie music and laughter as if some paranormal party is underway at one of Savannah's most haunted places.

Cobra Junior Golf Clubs
It's never to early to get a youngster started playing the world's greatest game. Maybe not as early as two years old, when Tiger Woods started playing, but by the age of six there is no reason why children can't be out on the golf links. Tiger Woods actually shot a 48 over nine holes, at the Navy Golf Club in Cypress, California, when he was three years old.
Cobra Junior Golf sets ate a great way to give junior golfers a good first golfing experience.
These days, junior golf clubs are not just cut down versions of the adult models, but individual and complete sets of quality golf
clubs. While the shafts are naturally shorter, another major difference is swing speed. Children aren't as strong as adults and,
therefore, swing the golf club slower.
The more flexible shaft compensates for the slow swing by whipping the club through the ball at a faster than a normal driver, fairway
wood or iron. While it is hard to produce a truly flexible shaft when the golf club is so short, the folks at Cobra golf have found the
technology works in every club in the junior's bag.
However, unlike Tiger, junior golfers really don't need every golf club in the bag. The primary focus should be on developing a good swing, not a great score. It is much better to hit a good 9 iron short of the green than a poor 3 iron that happens to bounce along the fairway and end up on the green. A great way to start is simply by hitting a seven iron in the back yard. Then add a driver, a fairway wood or metal, a wedge and naturally, a putter. When your junior begins to score well with those clubs, then consider filling out the complete set.
Junior golf clubs come in three or four basic age categories. Three to five years old for the Tiger wanna- be's. Six to eight, which is a good age to start playing golf. Nine to eleven and eleven plus. There are also height guidelines if your junior is a little larger or smaller than average.
When buying junior golf clubs, make sure to purchase a junior bag. Junior bags are smaller and lighter. Lugging a too heavy golf bag and clubs around the golf course is a great way to discourage even the most ardent junior golfer.
Cobra Golf offers an excellent junior starter set that is custom designed for juniors in both the six to eight and nine to eleven age groups. Just like the adult models, each junior golf club is engineered with computerized design and high tech materials that match the juniors size and strength. The J/Speed Cobra set includes a King Cobra 300 cc driver and a King Cobra Baffler utility fairway metal. The irons are a stainless steel 7 iron and pitching wedge. An IM Series mallet putter rounds out the set. The bag is a lightweight stand model with dual carrying straps. Cobra even throws in a J/Speed hat to round out the junior golfer's image..
Don't forget to purchase the correct golf balls. Look for junior golf balls or ladies golf balls. Both are designed for lower swing speeds.
The good news about junior golf clubs is they are designed for youngsters. The bad news is, youngsters grow up. The shelf life of a set of junior golf clubs is only a few years, unless there is a younger brother or sister waiting in the wings.
If price is an important consideration, another option to consider is used junior clubs. An Internet online store is a great place to find Cobra and Callaway, Nike, Ping, Taylor Made and other brands of junior golf clubs. Used drivers, irons, fairway woods, metals and putters and complete sets of junior golf clubs are available at a cheap price.
Our favorite is Austads. Austads is a premium online store that offers junior golf clubs. Their price points are excellent. Take some time to compare offers and brands and select exactly the right junior golf club set for your junior Tiger Woods. And all from your computer room.

Breathe Like Tiger Woods – The Secret to A Fluid Golf Swing
Tiger Woods and other top pro golfers use a specific breathing method to relax their bodies for a fluid golf swing.
You can easily do the same thing. But first, let's do a quick test to see where you currently stand.
In just a moment, I want you to take a big, deep breath.
And I want you to pay attention to what happens to your chest and to your stomach as you do it.
OK...do that now.
If you're like 95% of all golfers, then your chest probably expanded outward right away, while your stomach went inward toward your spine.
If that's the case, then you actually took a very shallow breath, not a deep one.
You would be classified as a "chest breather"!
Note: Tiger Woods is NOT a chest breather.
Try not to panic. I am trained to alleviate you from this chronic condition.
Okay, but why should you care?
Less than optimal breathing (chest breathing) can cause:
• An increased rate of breathing
• Increased tension in your neck muscles
• Headaches
• Feelings of anxiety
• Increased stress
• Increased sensation of pain
• Fatigued, stiff muscles
• Restricted and stiff joints
• Poor sleep patterns
• Poor circulation
• Poor posture
• Inefficient movement patterns
Experiencing any of the above side effects means your golf game will suck! Or at least it will not be up to its full potential.
On the other hand, proper breathing:
• Elicits a relaxation response
• Provides an optimal amount of oxygen to your body
• Improves circulation
• Helps maintain a healthy musculature (including your back)
Let me be very clear about this -
The manner in which you breathe will literally determine the physiology of your body - for better or for worse.
Do you still think this breathing thing is a no-brainer?
The good news is that with a little practice and awareness, you can reprogram your breathing techniques and reap the corresponding benefits.
Optimal Breathing Exercise
Phase 1:
1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
2. Place one hand on your abdomen and one on your chest.
3. Slowly inhale through your nose. Try to imagine the air going all the way down into your lower lungs (abdominal area). It may help to imagine your abdomen as a balloon, and as you inhale, the balloon inflates. Do not try to force your abdomen outward; rather simply allow the air from your inhalation to expand it.
4. Stop the inhalation before the hand on your chest begins to move.
5. Hold your breath for 5 seconds.
6. Exhale slowly through your nose or mouth. Use your hand to feel your "abdominal balloon" slowly deflate, as your navel moves towards your spine.
Perform 10 or more repetitions. I recommend starting with this "abdomen only" phase, and sticking with it until it feels relatively natural and easy.
Phase 2:
In actuality, the Phase 1 exercise was only a 2/3rds breath. This is an improvement over the chest breathing, but still not quite optimal. Now we will integrate the upper 1/3rd of your breath capacity - the upper chest area.
4. Instead of stopping the "inflation" at the upper abdomen area, allow the breath to continue into the upper lungs and cause the chest to rise.
5. Hold your breath for 5 seconds.
6. Exhale slowly through your nose or mouth. The order of "deflation" should be the opposite of the "inflation" pattern. I.e. your chest hand should fall first, and then your abdomen hand.
Now that is a full, optimal breath.
This may take a bit of practice, but it is well worth the time and effort.
I would suggest spending five minutes in the morning, and again in the evening just prior to bed, mastering this technique. Once this technique feels quite natural lying on the ground, integrate it into your standing posture, for use on the course.
Now go get em, Tiger!

Tiger Woods or Bobby Jones: Who's the Better Golfer?
If you're a golfer, or even have a passing interest in the great sport of golfing -- a sport where you hit a little white ball with a club and try to get that small sphere into an equally tiny 4 and 1/4 inch cylinder in the ground -- then you undoubtedly know of Tiger Woods accomplishments and his incredible ball-striking expertise.
But, how would Tiger Woods compare to Bobby Jones had they been able to play each other in the same golf tournaments?
Although you've probably heard of Bobby Jones, and may even know of his awards and his awesome record, most golf aficionado's don't realize just how spectacular this great golfer of the early 20th century really was.
In fact, it is impossible to know to EVER know with certain just who the best player really would be.
But, before you even think about who the best would be if they were to play a match together, here are some actual facts to consider.
We are all amazed when we see the mind-blowing tee shots of Tiger Woods.
However, in all fairness to Bobby Jones, it must be pointed out that from 1920 until today, golf clubs and other golfing equipment has come a very long way.
Bobby Jones had no choice but to use golfing equipment that was substantially inferior to the equipment manufactured today.
For example: today's golf drivers are able to hit the ball a good 10-15% or more farther than those manufactured in Bobby Jone's day.
Today's golf ball is wound a lot tighter than those Bobby Jones hit.
The Nike balls used by Tiger, and the Titleist Pro V, used by Phil Mickelson, travel about 30-40 yards further than those of Bobby Jones era.
However, despite the inferior balls and clubs he used, Jones could hit the ball 300 yards in his day.
Consider also, the golf course.
Now many of you are probably thinking, that the courses today, are a little longer. This is true. However, today's courses are set up today to promote better scoring (except the 4 Majors).
This has been done to satisfy spectators thirst for seeing more birdies.
Finally, I believe, the players from Jones era were at one other major disadvantage.
See what the players today would score, if you took away all the wedges!
This all around popular club, is a major reason for todays players being able to get the ball up and down from any where around and near the green.
I wonder how well Tiger would do, having no choice but a nine iron from a tight lie, from a greenside bunker.
And yet that's the only choice Bobby Jones had.
As far as the putter is concerned, the Calamity Jane was Jones choice for a putter, however, todays market of putters is superior in accuracy and construction.
Even, with inferior equipment, compared to todays standards, Jones was
able to shoot fairly low scores.
While we may never know who was the greatest, it creates great food for thought... and makes for great conversation... comparing these 2 golfing immortals!

Weston, FL Divorce Attorney Explains Possible Tiger Woods Divorce Outcome
In light of the recent Tiger Woods divorce controversy in Florida, Weston divorce attorney Evan Baron offers his review of Florida divorce law as it relates to individuals in Tiger Woods' situation. By providing a comprehensive legal interpretation, Evan Baron ensures his clients in Weston and Pembroke Pines, as well as all of Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade County understand their right to alimony in a divorce.
Divorce Attorney Evan Baron Explains:
Because of the recent Tiger Woods situation, there has been quite a bit of publicity over certain indiscretions by a spouse during a marriage. Adultery in many states is still considered by the courts and can be either a defense to requests for alimony or a specific reason to award the non offending spouse alimony. States which still consider this are called "fault" states. There are required specific reasons that a couple will request a divorce, such as adultery or mental cruelty, etc. This is not the case in Weston, Pembroke Pines or the rest of Florida. This state, like many other states, is a "no fault" state. Therefore, in Florida, a person does not need a reason to get divorced. As a divorce attorney, I often explain to people in Weston that someone could wake up one morning and decide to get divorced because it is raining. As long as the moving party states under oath that their marriage is "irretrievably broken" a divorce will be granted in the state of Florida. Fortunately, or unfortunately, it is often that simple.
Does that mean that alimony is totally irrelevant in Weston, or anywhere else in Florida? The answer is in fact that it is still very relevant but for limited purposes. Courts in Weston do not pass moral judgments on individuals in Tiger Woods' situation. Even in much publicized celebrity cases, such as with the possible Tiger Woods divorce, only the court of "public opinion" will judge an individual. Weston, Broward County and the rest of Florida only considers alimony to determine financial matters. If it can be proven that an individual used marital funds (any funds earned during the marriage) on a significant other, than the court can consider that fact in determining equitable distribution of assets. The Court may look to one spouse's depletion of marital assets on a third party. So if money is spent on gifts or travel or other expenses, than the non offending spouse can ask the court to award him/her a greater share of the total assets. This of course is all subject to proof. It is not to be used as a form of punishment, but rather a thought out distribution of assets based upon unilateral and wasteful spending. It does not result in the payment of alimony in Weston if none of the necessary factors for alimony exist. It is not a defense against alimony in Weston if all the other factors for alimony do exist.
Of course, the Court can still consider a spouse's character and conduct in determining a parenting plan for minor children. The character of each parent is facto which is still present in Florida Statutes. How much weight this facto may be given, will of course differ from case to case, as with the possible Tiger Woods divorce.
If you are in the same position as Tiger Woods, or happen to be the non-offending party, hiring a divorce attorney in Weston is essential. A Weston divorce attorney has the legal background needed to properly compensate an individual seeking alimony under these circumstances. Hiring a divorce attorney in Weston can also ensure that too much alimony is not unfairly imposed on the offender under Florida statute.

The eZip 500 electric scooter is great fun for older kids, it is fantastic for adults - ride it to work, make use of it round the golf course instead of renting a buggy, students ride it round campus! It has a whole load of uses. However, I should inform you that this scooter is not intended for young children, it really is designed with those age 13 years and over in mind, although I'm almost certain that there will be many 9 - 10 year olds whizzing around the neighbourhood on these too.
There are large numbers of of adults reducing the number of short car journeys they make either whilst on vacation or everyday going to work - you will find them riding an eZip 500 electric scooter instead! It is better for the environment and will save a whole wad of cash because it actually does not cost a large amount to keep your battery charged.
This trendy looking electric scooter gets power from 24 volt rechargeable battery and has a 500 -watt DC earth magnet motor which ensures a maximum speed of 15 MPH. The scooter can travel approximately 8 miles providing the battery is fully charged when you start out. This is also is dependant however, to the load it is carrying i.e. the weight of the person riding as well as the type of terrain you are riding on. The maximum rider weight is 240lbs.
If you have limited storage space owning an eZip 500 electric scooter shouldn't cause you any problems, because it has folding handle bars and the seat can be removed quickly, so, for students living in a small flat or to put in the trunk of the car to take on vacation the eZip 500 electric scooter is perfect.
Other features include 12.5 inch alloy 5- spoke MAG wheels which have Street Slick tyres, a variable speed power system with an auto shut-off and a battery pack which is very easy to access.
Some eZip 500 Electric Scooter Information at a glance:-
* Dimensions - 44 x 18 x 11.5 inches
* Weight = 56 pounds pounds
* 500 watt DC earth magnet motor
* Battery - 24-volt/10 Ah pack, two 12-volt/10 Ah valve regulated. The battery is rechargeable
* Speed - max. 15 MPH
* Range - Up to 8 miles
* Suitable for age 13 years and over
* Max. Rider Weight - 240 lbs
The eZip electric scooter is very durable and the speed it can reach is fantastic, however, I should point out the fast start often catches first time users by surprise! You will also find it very easy to keep steady and control.
The one problem which does annoy appears to be that as with almost all electric scooters it really is not much good on hills, this undoubtedly is very disappointing for any teenager who receives an eZip 500 electric scooter and lives in a less than flat neighbourhood. So, it is a point which should be considered before making a purchase. Another little niggle that has come to my attention is a high pitched whining noise made by the scooter, however I am told that this is greatly reduced by oiling the chain regularly.
One big advantage is that this scooter has a detachable seat, so for scooting to the corner store you can just stand on the deck but for a longer journey just put the seat in place and enjoy a more comfortable ride!
You will have to assemble your eZip 500 but this job I am assured takes little time and is not in the least difficult.
REMEMBER - Safety is essential so you should always wear a helmet whilst riding the eZip 500. It is also wise to check out local and state regulations regarding the use of electric scooters before making your purchase.
There are large numbers of of adults reducing the number of short car journeys they make either whilst on vacation or everyday going to work - you will find them riding an eZip 500 electric scooter instead! It is better for the environment and will save a whole wad of cash because it actually does not cost a large amount to keep your battery charged.

The Masters Golf Tournament
Anyone violating this policy will be subject to removal from the grounds and the permanent loss of ticket(s).
Play. Learn the spectator holes. The Masters course is set up so you can see several holes from several locations. The Spectator Guide, which is given out at all entrances, will show you how to find the best holes for spectators.
Get a paring sheet - that will show you how to spot groups on the golf course. If you want to see someone in particular, the paring sheet will help you plot out your strategy to get a good view.
"A must see event, in my mind, is spending time on the 16th green, a jewel of a Par 3 where so many tournaments have been won and lost," explains Glen Jackson, principle of Jackson Spalding Communications, in Atlanta and long-time Masters fan. "Spending time on the practice range is great fun and looking down Magnolia Lane, which harkens back to a time long ago and spending time on 12 and 13 are mandatory."
The Hangouts. The "Hangouts" include the practice tee. The first tee and under the first tee near the clubhouse. The putting green, where you can see the 18th & 9th green and 10th tee-box. The 16th green is a traditional gathering place. A par 3 (The Par 3 course is a gem. It is worth a peak. Sometimes you might find some former Masters champions playing away from the crowds). The "big pine at16" is known by a lot of people. A huge pine tree is behind the green and does stand out.
Another interesting place to visit is the Eisenhower cabin - behind the putting green. President and Mrs. Eisenhower stayed there when on the grounds. He was a member. There are a number of cabins on the grounds that are used during the tournament but the general public can't go in them, for the most part.
Great Expectations.
If you have never been to the Master's before here is a short list of things to expect, according to Ed Presnell, Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce President and CEO.
• Get there early, stay late and really just enjoy the day. The traffic and the crowds take many people by surprise. Don't try to do it all at one time. Get to the front of the golf course and work your way back.
• Be prepared to walk and wear comfortable shoes.
• Watch the fan behavior. Watching people is part of the fun.
• Unless you have a particular golfer you want to follow, try to see the golf course first.
• There may be some protest this year surrounding the club's admission policy.
But most importantly, if you are a golf enthusiast, expect to have an unforgettable experience steeped in history. Since 1934 the Master's has showcased legends of the sport. In 1980 Seve Ballesteros won, becoming the youngest player to date (just 23 years old) to be crowned a winner. At age 46 in 1986, Jack Nicklaus donned his sixth "green jacket". And in 1997 Tiger Woods broke the tournament four day scoring record that had stood for 32 years. Not bad for a game with no mascots.

Mastering The Masters
Master's Passes
Each April, the world's best come together to tee off for their place in history, at the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, GA. After a chilly winter break, the Master's kicks off the beginning of a new season for professional golfers. With Dogwoods and Magnolias in full bloom, perfectly manicured greens lined with tall stately Georgia Pines provide the picturesque backdrop for the greatest and most prestigious event in golf.
Winning the Masters will change a golfer's life forever. Many of the greats have shined here including Sam Snead, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Tom Watson and Tiger Woods. And some have unexplainably gone and never experienced victory - most notably Greg Norman, who has played in five Master's tournaments and never won.
But as beautiful as the Augusta National Golf Club is, most of us just dream of the chance to play the course or even be a spectator. Tickets are sold out months in advance and "waiting lists" are rumored to be in excess of ten years. So how do you get your ticket to the greatest tradition in golf? Here are some tips on how to get there and some "dos" and "don'ts" from people who know.
That's the ticket
Everyone who has a passion for golf wants the opportunity to experience the Master's, this April 3rd to the 9th - but where do you get tickets?
If you are not fortunate enough to have season passes, the best and most secure way to guarantee quality tickets is through a reputable and experienced ticket broker/agency. They offer one-day ticket passes, weekend ticket passes, practice round play, VIP parties and wonderful packages that include tickets to the events, first class transportation, four star dining and accommodations that range from a basic hotel room to a 15,000 square foot home.
"Look for a full service broker that has a history of success with Master's packages" says Robbi Raitt, President of Empire Tickets, in Atlanta. "Make sure that your package can be customized to fit your needs, so that it will be an experience unique to your personal taste and confirm that your agent will have someone on-site during the event to offer assistance if needed."
Raitt advises that a customer should never be shy about asking for references and that the best rule to live by when purchasing tickets/ packages for any event is tired and true - if it seems too good to be true, it is.
And whatever you do, don't throw those tickets away when the event is over. "Tickets are heirlooms." Eric O'Brien, long-time Masters fan says, "Going to the Masters is a family tradition. Old tickets are passed down along with the great stories that go with them."
Way to go!
Getting into the Master's is not cheap but worth every penny. Here is some advice on ways to optimize your experience from some "old pros".
Food. Come hungry because the concession stands get an A + from patrons for taste and quality. Even though the tickets are pricey, once inside a soft drink is still about .35 cents and those famous sandwiches, egg salad, ham & cheese, or the house specialty pimento cheese, are still only about $1.00. Of course there are also many excellent restaurants in the area.
Shops. The Masters logo is recognized worldwide so don't forget visit the two "outdoor golf shops." The one at the main gate is the big one - every Masters souvenir you can think of can be found there. At the back gate - on the back of hole 5, gate 10 - is where a smaller shop is located. People line up to get in both shops to buy golf shirts, sweaters, hats, seats, glasses, briefcases, screensavers, and calendars -- anything with the logo. A good tip is to visit these at the end of the day, so you don't have to carry your purchase around with you.
Attire & Etiquette. Spectators of the Masters dress in golf shoes/attire as a sign of respect for the game. The Masters Tournament is an international competition and the contestants are invited guests. Everyone should be treated with courtesy and respect.
Everyone is requested to display the proper customs of etiquette, decorum and behavior, and to obey all Tournament policies, signs and verbal instructions of Tournament officials.
For the safety of everyone, and in keeping with policy established at major sporting events, running is considered to be unacceptable behavior.
In fairness to spectator access and viewing, only one stool/seat will be allowed per person entering the grounds. Seats in observation stands are not to be reserved and stools/seats are not to be unattended for any inordinate length of time.
Cell phones, beepers and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited on the grounds at all times. Cameras are strictly prohibited on Tournament days. Anyone violating this policy will be subject to removal from the grounds and the permanent loss of ticket(s).
